Janel and Marie (she’s allowed to have one person with her) got to the hospital waaay before the crack of dawn today. Because Janel knows her recipient, they got placed in pre-surgical cubicles next to each other. Janel’s surgery begins first, so they have already prepped her and taken her back to the surgical area. The procedure is blocked out from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. I don’t anticipate many updates while it is in process, but if I get any, I will be sure to pass them along.
