Janel’s liver donation is being prepared now and will be walked over to the recipient as soon as it’s ready. Expect another update in a few hours.
They just did the cholangiogram (a special kind of X-ray that allows the surgeons to see the bile ducts) and everything looks great. They are about to remove the portion of Janel’s liver for her recipient – who will be going into the OR very soon.
